Can I translate directly between any two languages, like Danish to Greek?
Yes, you can translate between any two supported languages, including pairs like Danish to Greek. However, keep in mind that our system is English-centric, so translations are routed through English because we do not have direct models for every language pair.
What is the quality of translation?
We offer two neural translation models: Small and Large. Our Small models achieve a translation quality score of 7.9, while our Large models reach 8.3 out of 10. For reference, human translators typically score 8.5, making our neural models highly accurate for translations to and from English.
You can read more in our blog post comparing Google Translate, DeepL, and TranslateX.
Can I detect the source language automatically?
Yes, automatic source language detection is available in Business and Enterprise plans.
Do you store or log my translated data?
In the paid version, your submitted content is processed entirely in-memory. This means it is never stored or retained after the translation is completed, ensuring maximum privacy and security for your data.
In the free version, the submitted content and its translations may be stored. We use this data to improve translation quality, train new models, and enhance our services. Even then, your data is never shared with third parties.
What if I need more than 100 API calls per minute?
You can purchase additional API keys and load balance your requests across them to increase the limit.
How to cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription from the API Keys page in your user dashboard: https://my.translatex.com/api-keys
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept card payments. You can also use Apple Pay, Google Pay and Microsoft Pay.
